'Ktog' = standard abbreviation for 'knit together' in knitting patterns...
Welcome to the East Dartmoor Teashop (EDiT) knitters, crocheters and spinners' annual KTog WEBSITE... OUR KTOG IS NOTHING MORE OR LESS THAN AN EXCELLENT EXCUSE TO GET TOGETHER WITH FRIENDS AND KNIT, OR CROCHET, OR SPIN OVER A CUPPA AND A SLICE OF CAKE (and raise money for charity whilst you're at it!)
Every year since 2007 we have held a 'not for profit' exhibition of our work, combined with a stitch'n bitch cafe (or 'knit and natter' if you prefer), workshops, Market area and grand prize raffle. This has always been in different locations around the area we regularly meet up in, and has raised money for different charities, including Bliss and Women's Aid,
THIS YEAR our KTOG was in South Brent Village Hall on Sunday OCTOBER 16TH and we raised approximately £150 for our nominated charities 'Devon Air Ambulance' and 'Sustainable South Brent' (final tally to be announced when Mary tallies it all up and pays all the expenses...
Entrance was just £1 (the same as the previous 4 years) with children 10 and under FREE
